There is no easy answer here, your b.i.t.c.h. may require antoibiotics and/or anti-inflammatorys, the area may need lancing or worse case is gland removal. It much depends on whether it is septic or not. Warm compresses 4 times a day may help but ultimately you need to see your vet for the best possible care and to prevent it from getting worse.

This happened to my cat (and me too!) The vet told us it needed to be lanced to let out the infection. He said he could do it for us, but it'd be pretty expensive & suggested we do it ourselves with his instructions. We cleaned the area, made a small incesion & squeezed out the puss. You would need to clean the wound every so often & try to keep it covered as best you can.

Again, we had instructions from the vet. It may have been more detailed. It's been a while. She seemed to do fine, except for discomfort when the kittens pushed on the sore spot when feeding.

After I had my daughter, I got mastitis too! I was so worried they'd have to lance my tit! Thankfully, the dr just said not to stop breastfeeding. The baby would help deminish the milk blockage. Taking a warm shower & massaging infected area helps relieve discomfort. Hope this helps!

Take her to a vet, and fast. If left untreated, the infection could get out of hand. It is a nasty condition, and extremely painful

normally either one or the whole chain of nipples will be removed by the vets this is the best option and if the whole line is removed there is less chance of it spreading to the other nipples in the same line
