I lost 105 pounds in 6 months. Here is how I did it.
1. Every morning get up and walk for 45 minutes. You can start with less time, but you want to get up to 45 minutes, and it must be fast walk. You want your heart rate to go up. It must be in the morning, it kick starts your metabolism.
2. I cut out Red Meat, and fatty foods. Boneless skinnless chicken breast, baked, or grilled, rice and vegetables (steamed).
3. Eat half. Just eat half of what you normally eat. Put 1/2 on your plate, and put the rest away. Cook less. When you go to fast food, get salads only. Or grilled chicken. No fries, only diet soda. Or water.

It will work, once you get into a routine, you will get hooked on the results, and you will keep the routine. It has been over a year for me.

A sight with some really cool diet calculators and interesting calorie counting calculators is here. Check it out.

Stay motivated, and get up and walk every day. I seriously lost all my weight starting off my day on my walk.

Good LUCK!

I am a weight-loss coach, and I have found that these programs are the best.
I tell everyone to go to this website because I know it will work for anyone. You need to go there too. I got on one of the programs not to long ago, just to try it out and I have lost several pounds and inches, so I know it will work for you. The products are safe and all-natural. Most of all they are the most healthiest (my opinion). Check out the website. Fill out the contact page. Someone will get with you and discuss with you all you need to know, and how to get started ASAP ! Good Luck to you.

To lose 240 lbs you need plenty of exercise and a good diet. 241 lbs, I don't know.

I lost 45 lbs by eating only healthy. Wholewheat bread, delicious salads, seafood, chicken breast, no red meat, fruit and drinking water. Exercise plenty. Running in the morning will take away your appetite. Eat in small portions. A lot of activity to keep your thoughts off of food. You'll see a difference.

Walk a lot, and always fill half your plate with vegetables. If you don't like them, try to experiment and find some you like that aren't cooked in too much fat. Limit your sugar intake to one or two small treats per day. Make sure you get plenty of protein, and replace all your pastas and cereals with whole-grain versions. Limit fried foods to once or twice per week.

Slowly but surely.

Very heavy people are having great success with the Shangri-La diet, you'd be amazed. It's simple, inexpensive, no exercise needed, no hunger. Go to Seth Roberts' forum and read. It's not a fad!!!!
