Yes it IS! Thank-goodness. A hearty laugh is good for the heart, mind, and social well-being of a person.

Amazingly, if you notice people around you who are laughing, just for laughing's sake, YOU TOO WILL BE INCLINED TO LAUGH! Therefore, it IS CONTAGIOUS!

The word contagious means: THE TENDENCY TO SPREAD; AS OF AN INFLUENCE OR AN EMOTION!

YES, thank goodness.
i love nothing more than sharing a tear leaking good old belly laugh. you know the ones that are hard to stop?

my daughter (9 yrs old) got the hell scared out of her when a spider came down off the ceiling and almost landed on her head. she screamed, huddled up in a ball and she started crying. well, i started laughing and couldn't stop. (does that make me mean)?
when she saw that i couldn't stop laughing she started laughing and then neither of us could stop!!! i'm still laughing!!!!!

this was a harmless spider about the size of this zero 0. last night we were watching a movie and i saw her glance at the ceiling which sent me off laughing again and then she started again. hahahaha.

god, i love that girl. hahahahaha.

Yes.

Sometimes, the person that laughs the second time doesn't even know why the first person is laughing. They just start laughing seeing someone else laugh.
