My birthday. I ate all by myself...@Crabby Bills. A Whole Maine Lobster, 6 Jumbo Stone Crab Claws, 1lb of Snow Crab Claws, 2 dozen raw oysters and a 10oz. Steak. The setting was rustic (on purpose) and the presentation was my pitcher of beer to wash it all down. Mind you...I was 105lbs and 5'1 at that time...and I ate it all!!!
My dad took me out...and said "anything you want"

A four star restaurant in McMinville, OR. It was small and there were only two choices for dinner -Salmon or Steak. It was a five course meal. I can't remember the appetizer, but the salad with anchovie dressing, grilled asparagus with lemon sauce, Hazelnut lasagna, and both entrees were fantastic. The flavor of each dish seemed to build upon the flavors of the last dish while preparing your palate for the next dish. I have had many excellent meals since then, but none have seduced my palate in the same way as that fantastic meal in a (then) tiny town.

Any meal at the Park Grille Restaurant in Gatlinburg, TN. My husband and I recently ate there on our honeymoon, and everything was fantastic. They have a piano bar, low -lighting, friendly but unobtrusive service, and superior food. Their policy is to not even take your entree order until you have finished your appetizer and have returned from their salad bar (which has everything you can imagine). This way, you can eat as slowly as you want, not feeling rushed, just enjoying the food and each other's company. We ate for 3 hours! Since it was our honeymoon, they brought a extra candle to our table to make it more romantic. The music they played ranged from jazz, to classical, to broadway...just popular piano standards.
As far as the food, we had 4 courses. We started with a white cheese dip containing tomatoes and spinach, along with homemade tortilla chips that were made by the pastry chef. They resembled the flour bowls that taco salads are normally served in. We then enjoyed the salad bar, then ordered the main course. I had rainbow trout and rice. My was perfectly cooked, meaning it flaked away from the skin with no force or stickiness. My husband had "moonshine" chicken with a cinnamon sweet potato (baked). For dessert, he had white chocolate raspberry cheesecake, and I had tiramisu served in a dark chocolate bowl. We also enjoyed a bottle of Robert Mondavi Woodbridge Chardonnay.
Definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone traveling to the Smoky Mountains.

the restaurant was in atlanta and is now closed. it was a pasta dish with a creamy white sauce, thin, delicate noodles with peas, slivers of carrots and ham. the sauce was incredible not heavy like some white sauces are. it came with a salad which was cut into small pieces ( i hate having to struggle with large ones while on a date !) and had bacon, sesame seeds, water cress and a honey mustard type dressing. the dessert a very delicate white chocolate cake topped with raspberries and raspberry sauce. the lights were dimmed, candles on the table and a wonderful champagne -krug clos du mesnil accompanied the dessert. this was a special date so that might have also made it taste and look so good. otherwise my mothers chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, her yeast rolls and a large glass of tea so sweet you could us it as syrup at her large kitchen table.

About 6 months ago, my boyfriend made BBQ fillet Mignon and lobster, sauteed mushrooms for the steak, garlic mashed potatoes and fresh garlic-teriyake green beans. It was served with wine over candlelight and it was freakin amazing. Also the first time I had lobster.

this is a tough one. wow. there's this restaurant, Andiamo. it's owned by an italian family and serves as such. my husband and i went there for our wedding anniversary. the service was excellent, the atmosphere was great for a romantic dinner, the food was incredible. they served it in courses as is traditional italian. even the booze was good. i had this caramel apple martini...i don't usually say that about alcohol, that it tastes good, but this was good.
