Wild animals in British have the same amount of pollutions as commercially available UK meat, ie not much. Berries I would go ahead and eat, as long as it is in the countryside and not just by the side of the road or next to commercially grown crops as they may have been sprayed with pesticides/herbicides. Wash everything before you eat it if you're worried.

There isn't relatively some thing mistaken with it, i simply advocate that in case your prone to getting upset stomachs from raw eggs, i would not eat too much of it. However instead of that, it can be now not like there's any thing else that might make you in poor health (i.E.- raw meat)...Or whatever like that.. However as long as your physique can handle it... Consume all ya need!!! I lvoeeeeeeee cookie dough!

My dad's a gamekeeper and usually brings home animals (pigeons, pheasants, partridge, etc) which get eaten, I wouldn't eat anything that had just been found dead though, especially not rabbits. When I was younger we used to go blackberry/blueberry picking to bake with or make jams, so I say "Sure!"

It depends on what is/was around in their habitats. It is possible that there could be the bioaccumulation of heavy metals in their systems either through biocides or past industrial use of the land. If you don't know - don't eat.

But .........

Why on earth would you NEED to? The eco systems in this country are suffering enough without you taking from the food webs.

Pollution is no worry at all.

The main worry is about cooking meats properly.

Do you realise that about 5000 people a year die from food poisoning! Maybe 1 or 2 from food pollution.

WHY DO YOU FOLK KEEP WORRYING ABOUT POLLUTION ALL THE TIME!

Yes, otherwise you wouldn't be able to eat beef, lamb or pork.

Mind you, its best to leave the mushrooms alone unless you know what you're munching.
