If so, are there any writings or letters before the Koran, about Islam?

The Muslims will say no he didn't write it, because he was illiterate; but, it makes me wonder, why would a person who advised his people to be educated, and his own wife, Aisha, was a teacher, lived all his life illiterate! it makes me wonder if it was true that he was illiterate! why he never learned himself! He would have his own private teacher, but he never did! or didn't he!

I am an inquiring mind who wants to know. no disrespect to you, I just wonder why he lived his life uneducated! if in fact he did! just wondering.

The Qu'ranic revelations were originally memorised by Muslims as Muhammad spoke them, with some being written down on whatever was at hand, from stones to pieces of bark. Compilations of the Qu'ran began under the Caliph Umar, but it was Uthman who decided upon a definitive copy and destroyed all other versions. All of the Muslims use just one Qur'an and there isn't any differences among the sects. The Qu'ran has never changed in substance since. Muslims generally consider it to be the most beautiful book in Arabic.

NO, but the sahabah wrote down all of the revelations he recieved from God. So the Quran is from God. :) It is the only holy book that has remained the same since it was revealed. Allahu Akbar. And did you know if all the Qurans in the world were somehow destroyed there are millions of people who have it memorized back to front (that is how Arabic is written) So it will bever truely be destroyed because it is Allah's (Gods) final message to mankind. ALL OF MANKIND!!!:):) Subhan'Allah!!!

No. Mohamed was illiterate. probably the first illiterate prophet.

he was married to an elderly filthy-rich educated widow named khadija who as almost 20 years elder to him. mohammed suffered from a certain nervous disorders, that he used to shiver in the hottest summer days in arabian desert. then he goes into a semi conscious state and start muttering words. even today lots of people do this. illiterate common folks think that spirits are talking though such person. mohammed had the same disease. whatever he said was noted down by khadija and compiled into a book. that is qur'an. like christians here too followers invented stories that it has been given to him by god, or his followers wrote it down and compiled it into a book form later. thats an utter lie.

muhammaed was jealous of her. but he had his sweet revenge, calling it as the final message of god. khadija is simply removed. followers were warring tribesmen, of whom few knew to read and write. perfect situation to claim oneself as the messiah of god.

very few knew this truth, they escaped from arabia. others who knew were killed. if mohammed taught peace to his followers, then why muslims have no tolerence for other faiths.

Off course not.... he didn't.
Koran is Allah's words and Mohammad is the messenger through whom Allah revealed His words to us.

No. Muhammed invented islam and allah. The koran (various spellings) was placed in written form about 200 years later (apparently they had a "cattle call" to get everyone to show up and tell what pieces they had memorized).

no
Mohammad was illiterate.
His words were used to write to Koran.
He was the prophet, those around him wrote what he was saying on bones and skins.
Some 80 years after his death His teachings (supposedly) were compiled.
