i confused everyone, yes we are dating and he is away working, we live in the same city. he calls,texts, emails all the time and i do to. i feel lost.

Of course that's normal.
keep yourself busy doing something that makes you happy.
Think of ways to make it a big-thing when he returns.
Do your nails, take a long bath with candles while listening to soft music. Get yourself ready, then before you know it he will be walking in the door.

I hope you mean work wise when you say can't get it together, Yes being anxious is normal, time apart makes the heart grow fonder keep yourself occupied the time will seem like forever but at least it won't be wasted time

Does he contact you regularly in those eight days?
Do you live close?
Does he call you often, or call you back when you call?
Are you guys been in a relationship for quite a long time? (more than year)
If all the above, you guys are fine.

Why don't you be supportive, until he can get his self together. You do not know what stress he has been under. so do not jump to any conclusions. tell him to take all of the time he needs, an you will be here waiting for him, tell him that you love him. I hope it all works out for you!

I know exactly what you mean my boyfriend has been gone for 2 weeks I went to visit him and I still miss him soo much, what do you mean he cant get it together like he doesnt wnana come back??
