I have a cold, and the skin around my nose gets dry and cracked from blowing it so much. I've used facial moisturizer, but it kinda burns. I've used cocoa butter lotion, but that burns as well. I've used petroleum jelly, but was told that that blocks pores.

Does anyone have a solution that won't burn or clog my pores?

HELLO! I know your pain and suffering. I USE A GREAT PRODUCT CALLED CUREL DAILY MOISTURE THERAPY LOTION!

You can use it on your face, around your eyes, and especially your nose (even in those terribly painful cracks). This is the BEST LOTION my wife and I have EVER used. This is what you get:
CUREL Daily Moisture Therapy Lotion ORIGINAL FORMULA (you may have to go to several pharmacies before you find it). DO NOT SETTLE FOR ANYTHING ELSE. My wife has ULTRA SENSITIVE skin, and this is what we both use.
24 ounce white bottle with BLUE cap (dispenser).
It will RELIEVE and COMFORT you and your sore nose!
Lasts for 24 hours (but we keep applying it every so often).

Here is what is written on the back of the bottle:
Curél Original Formula Lotion locks in moisture and lasts 24 hours. Penetrates deeply to relieve and comfort dry skin. Forms an invisible, non-greasy barrier to lock in moisture. Clinically proven to provide continuous 24 hour hydration.
Absorbs quickly
Non Greasy
WILL NOT CLOG PORES
GENTLE ENOUGH TO USE ON FACE
DERMATOLOGIST RECOMMENDED

This product is also guaranteed: IF NOT FULLY SATSFIED, RETURN UN-USED PORTION FOR FULL REFUND!

WE HAVE NEVER HAD TO RETURN IT! IT WORKS WONDERS!!! Try it...I am USING IT AT THIS VERY MOMENT and IT IS WONDERFUL!

This is probably do to the cold of winter. During the winter the skin is more sensity and vulnerable. And needs more pampering and moisturizer. Try a skin balm or ointment and make sure your warm specially your face. Although it might be something else.

any type of lip balm will work. it is waxy and will protect it from further abuse. doesn't hurt either, it makes it feel better. it won't show. next cold only use the tissues with moisturizer; they really make a difference.
