I'm 15, can't stand my grandparents...they drive me absolutly crazy. And unfortunatly sometimes when I need a ride somewhere, they are my only ride. I'd rather not go than ride with them...that is how much I detest them. My parents say I do too much with my friends already, and won't let me go with them most of the time. How can I not be so negitive when it comes to my grandparents? I Just can't stand them anymore. They drive me absolutly CRAZY!!!!! HELP!!!!!

I just wanted to add some details about why I can't stand them. It's not that I don't love them, don't get me wrong...but they drive me crazy. For example, whenever I'm around my Grandmother, she always tells me how stupid my friends are, when they aren't, and how bad of a housekeeper a dear older friend of mine is. She's always talking bad about people I care about. Then my grandfather ... he's nice, but he only thinks of himself most of the time. If he don't want it, it don't happen. And his temper is terrible. He too talks bad about people I care about...they both talk bad about my parents around me. That is what drives me crazy about them.

what is the reason .. give some instances so that we can help you better ... if you just hate them without a reason that you are a jerk ... i love my grandparents a lot ... they mean the world to me ...

Well what is it about them that drives you crazy? Is it their old fashion taste in things? The way they drive? Their proper or improper manners? Be more specific! Don't forget Grandparents are old and not all understand things we go through today. My grandfather whom I was very close to died when I was 9 years old. I still miss him to this day....being 15 years later. My grandmother is the only grandparent I have left and let me tell you she is not the easiest to get along with. Every time I go to visit her she would start talking trash on other family members and it if you argue with her or tell her to stop she gets angry. However she is still my grandmother and I love her I mean she's not gonna be around forever. Try and find some common ground with your grandparents. Appreciate the fact they ARE still around to give you that ride to where you need to go. Goodluck!

When I saw your question I had to answer. To read that you can't stand your Grandparents is crazy I wish my grandmother and granddaddy were still alive because they were my world there isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about them How selfish are you. If I could trade places with you I would be thankful that you still have them and grow up and stop being a B ITCH

I use to think ur way. Now that I am married woman and my grandparents are still alive I value every moment around them. Even if I find it annoying or it gets on my nerves it's the right thing to do. My husband never had any grandparents so he reminds me to be patient and understanding with them. Be glad for what you have...not everyone gets grandparents!
You will be glad you did someday!
