I lost my husband and my business all at the same time. I can barely function as the bills pile up. I just want to sit in the corner. All I can manage is to get the everyday things done and look after my two children.

Please give me some idea's, motivation and encouragement!

First get your act together. Talk to the people you owe oney to and ask for some grace. Is unemployment an option till you can get a job. Do you have freinds and family that can watch your kids till you get on your feet.

Is there someone you can stay eith till your able to move out on your own?
You can do it!

You won't feel better if you continue to believe that all of your self worth was tied up in your marriage and business. Get another job. Stay out of relationships for a year so that you can figure out what went wrong so that you don't make the same mistake again. And we are destined to make the same mistakes over and over if we don't change. Devote yourself to being the best mother you can be.

First, what's happened, has already happened so it's time to move on.
Do you have any friends or relatives who can watch your children or help you around the house.
Second, have you considered temporarily going on unemployment or public assistance.
Then look for a job.

GRIEVING IS INDIVIDUAL. YOU ARE STILL GOING THROUGH THE PROCESS. I AM NOT SURE WHAT STAGE YOU ARE AT, OR HOW LONG IT HAS BEEN, DO NOT LET ANYONE TELL YOU HOW AND WHEN TO GRIEVE. IT WILL ONLY GET BETTER WITH TIME. DO NOT FEEL ANY GUILT! IN THE MEANTIME, TAKE STRIDES (SMALL OR LARGE, YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE CAPABLE OF) TO MOVE AHEAD, SUCH AS TALKING WITH YOUR CHILDREN...ASKING TO SHARE THEIR FEELINGS, WORK TOGETHER AND YOU WILL BECOME STRONG INDIVIDUALLY AND AS A FAMILY.

make a gratitude list...see all that you still DO have..
i'm sure everything feels out of control and hopeless, but you will get thru it...try and think of another time in your life when you felt overwhelmed and everything turned out okay...do something fun with your kids (i'm sure they're feeling the stress of it all too-even if you don't think they are...they are), you could all use a break-even if it's just an hour at the park....
good luck...things will get better
