I get pooped on almost everyday LOL. That is why I have a few shirts specifically for wearing when I am playing with my Sun Conure. Part of the experience of own such a wonderful companion (though obviously not one of the best parts).

What city? NYC and Venice Italy, specifically St. Marc's Square. What kind of bird, lots of pigeons can do this damage. I live in the country, step in dog/horse/cow/llama stuff, but have not been pooped on. I know where I live that if a bird poops on you or your vehicle it is good luck, (jokingly I think).

Ha Ha! I'd like to know the answer to that one! One things for sure, everyone who owns a bird as a pet and handles it is almost certain to get used as a restroom...I've got an old work shirt I wear when handling my cockatiel. I call it my poop shirt.

It's a daily hazard for me when I enter my aviary to feed, water and clean up after my cockatiels and society finches. Sometimes I do get hit on the head, but most often I'm lucky and it just lands on my arm or shirt.

Its not as uncommon as you may think. I know a person that received bird feces twice within a year! It was actually rather disgusting: it landed IN her ear. I bet that took a bit of cleaning... ;-)
