Har de har har har.

But ok, basically God picks up a super-charged V8 powered chainsaw and performs a neurological and cardiological adjustment with it...which obviously results in a transformed life for the recipient.

May have been a slightly unorthodox way of putting it, but gives general idea. Now I have that out of my system I'll try and use slightly more serious phrasing for the rest of this post.

If you received the Holy Spirit He would not be yours, He is God's Holy Spirit.

You won't receive Him through FedEx or postal service because as far as I am aware they just deliver physical objects, and the Holy Spirit, as His title suggests, is a spirit.

As for not liking the Holy Spirit and sending Him back....welllll....there are a couple of views of that in the Church. I believe that IF you really did receive Him then you would not not like Him or send Him back.

Yes, He is one size fits all. The one Holy Spirit lives in every Christian.

No, you cannot get more than one because there is only one.

Thanks for your time too and have a great day yourself. I pray one day you'll start having Godly days :D

Your question is glib and incendiary but this response raised the hair on the back of my neck.

"How dare you mock the Lord, don't worry there is a nice hot place that people like you go. God Bless."

God Bless?!!! Does anyone besides me see the fundamental hypocrisy in this statement? And people like this want us to believe in their spiritual path?!!! Unbelievable!

And your question?

I think most Christians would have to agree, given human diversity, that the holy spirit is a "one size fits all."

in order for you to have the Holy Spirit you must desire him with all your heart - having the Holy Spirit in you, is an unbelievable thing that you cannot imagine - he will guide you in everything you do. but he can only be with you if your heart and mind is clean form sin

The stork will drop it into your womb. I believe they have a no returns policy, you'll just have to drop it in your junk drawer or donate it to goodwill if you grow tired of your new and improved holy spirit.

You ask him to come into your heart and he comes to live inside you. He is there to comfort you, encourage you, quicken you, bless you, warn you of things to come... One size fits all most definitely, if you welcome him. You won't want to send Him back. He's your comforter, your helper. THere is only ONE holy Spirit. You can't get another.

you have to ask with humility and truly regret your sinfulness. your comments don't sound like you have either.

sorry, i tell it like it is.
