Am I the only person this bothers? When people say "I'm a freak," but seem to only define that as "a person who enjoys sex," they get annoyed or nervous when confronted with a kinky idea or even just a simple position change. Does "freaky" really just mean easy?

I know what you mean. Being freaky and saying your freaky are two different things. These same people think that just laying down and doing the deed is freaky. Being freaky is going all out in the bedroom. It's about trying crazy and kinky things to make the act of it exciting and stimulating. If people can get over their hangovers in the bedroom, and stop worrying about how they look or how crazy it seems then they would be able to say their freaky. As for me, i'm not afraid to try anything with my boyfriend. I'm about keeping the relationship exciting in the bedroom because I get bored very quickly. I have to have a man that can hang with me.

In current usage, the word freak(y) is used to refer (or describe) a person with an unusual personality (actions).

I think what happens is that everyone has a certain "standard" by which they refer to the term, "freaky". This is where it becomes confusing because what you may determine as a freaky action might, by someone else's definition, mean something else altogether.

A few years ago when I was dating, I came across this weird "science" also and thought it interesting that for what I considered standard sexual practice, the men I dated thought it "freaky." I was, by no means, easy - just different and knew what I wanted. Unfortunately for me, the nerds I dated thought this was some new climactic sensation and couldn't keep up. Thank God I found my dream lover and married him.

So don't despair, as you will one date meet with the person who agrees with you certain sexual standards and they might not necessary even be freaky.

One thing I learned was to go into more detail about what was considered freaky with the person, so that we did not have a mismatch of the minds. In general conversation, you usually find out a lot before you get to the stage where the action comes in and freaks THAT person out. :)

Freaky means up for whatever sexually. I consider myself to be a freak in the bedroom, but I am not quick to jump in the bed with just anyone. I make my husband a very happy man, though. Whoever you are talking to is probably just saying they're freaky to get you interested but when it comes down to the dirty deed, they get scared.

Most likely their " a freak" with the right person. If confronting someone with a kinky question, they may not be in the comfort zone, from personnel experience, just about everyone needs to fell comfortable with sexual questions face to face.

People just don't understand what freak means and is over-used even by prudes.

Freaky is kinky and up for some wild, weird, XXX, porno-graphic stuff.

Maybe some idiots are mistakenly thinking it means geeky or just plain old DOUCHE BAGS.

Technically, I would say no, freak doesn't mean easy. People have just confused their vanilla tastes with the uninhibited sex that others enjoy.
