"And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince who standeth for the children of thy people; and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation, even to that same time. And at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one who shall be found written in the book." Daniel 12:1

Jesus foretold this time also at Mark 13:19--"For in those days there will be tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the creation which God created until this time, nor ever shall be."

Jesus Christ....
The same one that is spoken of at

Isaiah 9: 6 & 7: " For there has been a child born to us, there has been a son given to us; and the princely rule will come to be upon his shoulder. And his name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace. 7 To the abundance of the princely rule and to peace there will be no end, upon the throne of David and upon his kingdom in order to establish it firmly and to sustain it by means of justice and by means of righteousness, from now on and to time indefinite. The very zeal of Jehovah of armies will do this.

There is only one Archangel...He would be above every other angel ( arch: principle or chief), but not above God.

Also see:
1 Thessalonians 4:16: "16 because the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a commanding call, with an archangel’s voice and with God’s trumpet, and those who are dead in union with Christ will rise first."

Jude 9: "But when Mi´cha·el the archangel had a difference with the Devil and was disputing about Moses’ body, he did not dare to bring a judgment against him in abusive terms, but said: “May Jehovah rebuke you"

We also know that Jesus was to begin ruling amonst his enemies and the first thing he did when he began to rule was to kick Satan out of heaven.

Psalms 110:1 & 2: "The utterance of Jehovah to my Lord is:
“Sit at my right hand
Until I place your enemies as a stool for your feet.”
2 The rod of your strength Jehovah will send out of Zion, [saying:]
“Go subduing in the midst of your enemies.”

Revelation 12:7-12: " And war broke out in heaven: Mi´cha·el and his angels battled with the dragon, and the dragon and its angels battled 8 but it did not prevail, neither was a place found for them any longer in heaven. 9 So down the great dragon was hurled, the original serpent, the one called Devil and Satan, who is misleading the entire inhabited earth; he was hurled down to the earth, and his angels were hurled down with him. 10 And I heard a loud voice in heaven say:
“Now have come to pass the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ, because the accuser of our brothers has been hurled down, who accuses them day and night before our God! 11 And they conquered him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their witnessing, and they did not love their souls even in the face of death. 12 On this account be glad, YOU heavens and YOU who reside in them! Woe for the earth and for the sea, because the Devil has come down to YOU, having great anger, knowing he has a short period of time.”

Sorry, this is probably too much info, but it all came to me in a rush, so I put it all in.

be conscious DANIEL 10:5-7 alongside with REVELATION a million:13-15. The discern in Daniel who says he replaced into with Michael in Persia is, in actuality, Jesus himself. This enlightening certainty actually SHATTERS the Jesus/Michael doctrine previous restoration. evaluate right here: If the JWs can argue that Jesus and God won't be able to be one on the inspiration that they the two look at his baptism, than the JWs ought to settle for that Jesus isn't Michael on the inspiration that they the two stand against the Prince of Persia.

There is good reason to believe Michael is the name of that person we know as Jesus.
They are both on God's side, both head of an army, they are both referred to as an arch-angel.
Its strange to think there would be 2 armies in heaven, both on God's side and how many ARCH-angels can there be?
Plus, Revelation 12:7 speaks of Michael successfully fighting against the devil.
Isn't that Jesus' job? Revelation 11:15

Hi, this refers to the Archangel Michael, who raised the battle cry against satan in his rebellion and by God`s command fought and defeated him and drove satan to Hell.
St.Michael was also the guardian Angel of Israel in ancient times, and is also one of the seven high Angels who stand at the throne of God in Heaven.

Michael is one of two angels listed by name in scripture. The other is Gabriel, who appeared to Mary before the conception of Christ. They are often referred to as arch-angels (meaning head-angels), although that terms is never actually used for them in the Bible. Both Jewish and Christian tradition have several other "named" angels.

He's not the pre-incarnate Jesus Christ, as the Jehovah's Witnesses teach. Instead, he's the archangel assigned by God as Israel's "watchman." See Isaiah 21, Ezekiel 33, Hosea 9 and Micah 7.
