well I'd say he likes you and you need to know how he views it whether he'd want something with you or not. If it were me I'd say yes. As far as the other women, men will always want and fantasize about the unobtainable some take that a little over the top though and develop high school like crushes but its nothing I think he wouldn't get over.

This can't be answered for all guys. Believe it or not, we are all different. If this guy is still hung up on some girl that doesn't give him the time of day, then maybe he is using you till hopefully she comes around (won't happen). Or he may just consider you a good friend. Yes, men and women can be friends; however, sex may cast serious doubt on this scenario. On the other hand, if he spends much time with you, talks with you regularly, maybe he does have feelings he is somewhat unaware of. Maybe you should just ask him what he thinks and how he feels. If you are ok with a casual relationship then so be it. If you want more and he doesn't, then maybe you should consider other options.

It is a waste of time and energy to pursue someone who doesn't like you. The extended periods of talking indicates a serious interest. Assuming he is also physically attracted to you and I would think that would be a given if you are having sex. If he doesn't take a step to make some form of commitment soon date someone else and get his attention. (date, not sleep with)

liking but not talking to that girl is sometimes nice to keep in your un-reality world. the mystery is usualy better then if you really were with her and find all these things you don't like. he does like you and seems like you've had some good times. would you rather be the one he doesn't talk to? respect your self and your relationship with him. don't do things to spite an unknowing 2nd girl. his temporary crush could be just that. don't let it harm things. everyone does it & has feelings for it.

Most guys like sex and you seem to be offering it. Nothing wrong with nice sex, so maybe you need to appreciate that, but keep your options open and be ready to move on.
