Whenever I try to call up Task Manager, I am told that Task Manager has been disabled by the Administrator.?

We use Windows XP Home. How do I re-enable it?

first off if your account is only a limited account/ only the computer administrator can change settings in control panel and task manager

You need to have someone who has administrative rights on your computer either give you administrative rights or change your privilege level to power user.

Someone who has administrative rights has limited what you can and can't do in the profiles section of the control panel. It can all be fixed there, but, again, only by either an administrator or power user.
