After 6 mos, she told me she needed some time for herself which I have given her, but the other night I couldn't take it and cracked. I sent her a text just totally spilling my guts, enought that she stayed home from work that day. She came over tonight. Things felt ambiguous when she left. How long would you wait to ask what I can expect as far as we go? Should I even ask or just see how things unfold? I don't want to pressure a decision but I deserve to know if she is even thinking about it.

I think you're right about having the right to know if she's considering it. I also think that you might mess things up if you pressure her too much. Atleast give her a day or two before you start pressing the issue again. Hopefully within those 48 hours she will get back to you. When you do call her, if she doesn't call you, try to keep it casual and let her have some sort of oppurtunity to tell you what she thinks before you flat out ask.

I think you deserve to know if there's even hope. If she says yes...don't pressure her, just let it wait.

give it one more try - then let it go - sometimes silence on your part will make her notice you more.
