Being baptized in the name of the Father, of the Son (Jesus, The Word of God personified), and of The Holy Spirit.
Following all the 7 sacraments faithfully until death.
Never leaving the Catholic Faith, knowing that if you did you would be damned to hell for eternity. Thus taught by every pope.
Going to Mass every Sunday, choosing to believe in"Transubstantiation" = The Holy Spirit changing the bread and wine into the actual body and blood of Jesus Christ, which must be concumed regularly to have eternal life (John chapter 6).
Following not only the teachings and doctrines of the Catholic Christian Bible, but also that of the Pope.
Praying the Lord's Prayer (Matthew 6), as well as praying The Hail Mary, both done daily.
"Praying for the Peace of Jerusalem, as all Cathlolic(catholic means universal) Christians should do faithfully and on a daily basis."
To have tolerance of all others religions and faiths that exist, and not to judge them, or individuals as Jesus taught to do (Matthew 7).
To be a faithful believer to God and The Holy Bible, to love and obey Him and to trust Him in every circumstance in life completely !!

I am not Catholic, but I know many catholics and we've had many many conversations together.
This is an excellent description of what being a catholic is.

Practicing Catholic Christians can probably answer your question even better than I did, knowing from personal experience.

Peace to all.

And always try to love and accept people for who they are, but never accept any negative labels they might put on you.

It doesn't mean being narrow-minded or uncomfortable with your body/marital love. That stuff is fine, and held in respect. To me, being Catholic means getting as close to God as possible on earth. It's awesome.

Being narrow-minded and quick to judge. Debilitating amounts of guilt, which was the judgementalness turned inwards.

Hating my body and being uncomfortable with sex.

Life is MUCH better since I left the Church.
