For me--I am here to read thought provoking questions, and answers and to share opinions. That should be the most we can want or expect to gain from spending time at this site.

I think I would say a cross between 2 and 3. Because some do find a new truth, not the ultimate truth, but a new one from the experience of themselves through others. And yes I aslo love the frienships I have made on this forum, and it is them that keep me positive, despite all the negativity that is here... I wish you well

5. I do not have a direct hotline to a higher power and I think it is ridiculously presumptious for anyone on any side of the arguments to say "This is right, you are wrong, I need to convince you." I am here because I want people to realize that not everyone shares their beliefs, and that we are all entitled to have our own faith and belief system. That is the message I try to spread.

I'll tend to go for number 3, but don't claim to have a hotline to the Goddess or any particular lock on "the ultimate truth"; just enjoy sharing/reading civilly expressed information, ideas, opinions.

Think each person is ultimately going to responsible for her/his own "truth", and for the search to claim it.

All I can do is share my opinion when asked for and hope someone will get something positive from it whether they agree 100% or not. I can tell people about what I think God has done for me but people have to decide for themselves whther or not to believe. And I respect their opinion, borg or human.

I would have to choose "5."

I'm here, hopefully, to inject a level of reasonableness into the conversation. Through reasonableness, it is my hope that some will become more tolerant of another's religious point of view.

There is no ultimate truth. Anyone claiming otherwise is deluded.
