It is best if you use this site to keep yourself totally unattached. Avatars are nice but anyone can choose a pretty Avatar and tell you what you like to hear. Anyone can draw you in, and that is exactly what some are trying to do on this site. There are predator's on here as well as all the other sites.

I guess if you look at the questions posted and the types of responses the person answers, you can get a sense of what that person is like. However, they are all like "slices" of the person's thought when they ask/answer specific questions. So, I would think you would get a false impression on someone if you look at bits and pieces of Y!A of that person.
So my answer is yes, but the impression you get from them is probably wrong.

We don't really know anything about each other to base an opinion. I think that would be impossible unless you have constant communication with a particular person.
