I haven’t been sleeping right, eating right, or drinking right. Some days I don’t eat or drink at all. Monday, my leg collapsed. I’ve been trying to take better care of myself. But I have long hours at school, I go to college. I don’t have much time to eat or drink. But now I try to eat at least two meals a day.

Now, I have headaches all the time and I feel so sick. In the evenings, I feel like throwing up and I get dizzy when I sit up. I feel so hot all the time, but I don’t have a fever, but when I turn on the fan I get too cold. Yesterday, when I was just sitting down, I got intense pain from my shoulder for no reason. It went away in like an hour.

I’m 21. Any ideas what I can do? And is this all because of not eating, drinking, and sleeping? If so, why is it that now that I take better care of myself it seems to be getting worse?

Maybe it's because your body has been used to not being taken care of. The first step would be to make an appointment with your doctor and tell him whats been going on. He should direct you into what you should do. I would think it would to start eating small frequent meals first until your body gets used to eating again. Drink plenty of water. The headaches come from not eating and the nausea and vomiting from dehydration. You should take some light healthy snacks i.e, fruit, pretzels, juice along with you in your purse or backpack during the day and bottled water. Plenty of rest (at least 7 hours a night) too. Also a good idea would be to take some multivitamins. You may not feel a difference with the vitamins but trust me, it helps alot. Not eating right can cause you to have problems in school also. I hope that this helps. If this doesn't help, then I would advise you to take heed to someone's help. Good luck.
