I believe it will happen in my lifetime because God saud that "this generation shall NOT pass until all be fulfilled." He was speaking of the prophecies pertaining to the restoration of Israel to her homeland, the rebuilding of the Temple and several other things. Since Israel's declaration of independence was ratified by the League of Nations on May 14, 1948, everything that has worked to the Israeli advantage in regard to regaining what was promised them has done so by the providence of God so that we might see the fulfilling of prophecy and believe.

No. The end of the world will happen when the sun goes red giant on April 1, 5,000,000,274 AD. I doubt that I shall live to see it.

No such phrase as end times in the Bible; only "the time of the end". And "the end" of the God Shew, also called "perfection" in Hebrews 6:1, the end which we all are one are all exhorted to endure unto, to be saved(only) by grace(only) is already written:

The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ WITH YOU ALL. AMEN.

I bet people thought the same during the world wars, but the situation improved greatly, and now its going down again.

It's really hard to say. I don't think the tribulation is coming next week or anything. I think it is still a few years off. But how many? Hard to tell.
It could be another ten years, or another sixty years.
