When will a female dog start showing if she is pregnant? She's a St. Bernard! Please***** no remarks about spaying, or how awful I am, I just asked a simple question and I would appreciate only serious questions. Thanks~

I own 3 Saints! If you know she is bred most breeders can notice tale tale signs like nipple changes ect early on.... however if you are not aware of those things to look for then you should certainly see a change in her belly around 30 days (which is about 1/2 way through gestation). If you want to be for sure check your calendar dates and around what should be 45 days you can take her to the vet for x-rays and you can see their Skeletons!

God luck!

Their coats are very thick so it could be about a month before you actually see a bulge. You will be able to feel the pups well before that though.

remember there are other factors as well as if there are more then the normal puppy count, she can show sooner then normal
