It's definitely another portal. The stomach is quite a gateway to the heart. My gf loves to cook for me, and i definitely appreaciate it. I believe its the fact that she would take the time and put that much thought into something for me. Definitely makes us feel special. Good move on your part !! Keep it up! You should try cooking together, its lots of fun!

One of my friends from work was telling me that his wife wasn't as good a cook as his mother. All I could say to that was, "Ouch, that must really suck."
My mother is an awesome cook. I don't dread the days when we go to my parents' house to eat. In fact, there are a few dishes that my mother is unmatched, even by my wife.
But, on the whole, my wife is a far suprior cook to any one else I have ever met. I love her cooking. When we were dating, we had a falling out at one point, and I almost broke up with her. I'd like to say I kept comming back because I hoped we could work it out, but it was the cooking at first. Obviously, it worked out well.

well the phrase is that a way to a mans heart is through his stomache, but tonight if you cook him supper he may not be in that stage again, its one of those things he was not expecting you to do for him so you got into his mojo and he liked it, maybe next time cooking were something sexy so when he walks in and smells your good cooking he will see it as well and may want to eat it all up again tonight!

I don't know how much of it is the food, but maybe more the fact that you took the time to do something special for him. Something that you don't do all the time, y'know. Either way, it's nice to be appreciated, isn't it?
