And, what do you crave, when you crave?

What do you really enjoy but never have cravings for?

Cravings are attempts to satisfy nutritional deficencies that are usually not consciously known to the craver. Your pickles are probably an enjoyable source of sodium, or potassium, or whatever else it is that you secretly want. There are other ways to get these things but you've learned (and practice) pickles as the default route to so.

It can be difficult to determine which food yearnings are biological craves and which are for other pleasures.

I heard somewhere that there is something in the food you crave that your body needs...a certain vitamin or mineral...and your body is craving that food so you will get the nutrients you are lacking.

I crave chocolate, pizza, sweet and salty things, and homecooked food (like meatloaf or casserole) a lot.
