Na just kidding, but I made you look didnt I, which only validates what I am about to say... Yesterday I found myself being very combative with others after being told that I was evil and my words were the seeds of the antichrist... Then last night it hit me like a ton of bricks(clarity) When I first joined this forum it was to learn about peoples belief structure. BUt soon after I started to see that from the majority of the questions and the responses no one really cared.. I phrased questions in a very polite and loving way, and got maybe 8 or 9 responses. It was when I looked for the most insulting or shocking way to ask a question is when most responded. NOw I ask what does that say about us as people?
It's like we dont want to hear the blah blah how are you today. Instead we look for a battle. We answer the questions that are the most insulting and then wonder why we felt insulted. I have seen peple get hate mail, questions get deleted, nasty nasty comments.

beliefs are opposite of yours. Everyone on this forum reserves the right to not answer, so if something seems offensive then send the message that I will not answer, and you will not have fuel for your fire. It's like the one who answers is just as bad as one who posed the question. This place sometimes can be very unhealty as I have seen from my own actions. Stop reporting people. We are all adults here...
And in the future when someone asks you how your day is, or what is your belief answer, unless conflict is what you seek
What is your feedback on this guys? HOw do you feel?

It's the Karl Rove approach to god! And it worked for the repubs for a long time.

I think that this forum is used by some to voice their opinions, when they can't or won't view them in public or face to face. Here all you have to identify them by is just a screen name. It does give some courage to say what is on their minds knowing that the only way they can be attacked is on the net. Some questions are legitimate while others are completely ridiculous. But that's what is on their minds at the time of their posting. This also gives other people a chance to see what other people really feel and think about certain issues. I think it could be a healthy way to vent and explore but on the other hand people can be very malicious and critical in the way they answer some questions. I have grown up with the saying "there is no stupid question", but allot on here makes me wonder. But I keep coming back to look through the questions debating which ones are worthy of my time to answer.

I'm guessing that that's a human defect..........Everybody loves a drama........People now though, compared to back in the day, I can't explain it, but we seem more irate with each other. Like if u bump into someone and say excuse me and they return the complete opposite gesture, an evil look, or even a rude comment. It's unfair 2 the nice people. I don't know hun, that's just they way things are today.

I'm sorry that you've experienced this in such a negative light. While I'm no genius or saint, I try to answer as positively as I can, except when my faith or the Word is under attack and even them, I try my hardest to be understanding so that wisdom might be shared instead of anger and/or mistrust.

it spices up there boring life....or boring life at work. A lot ppl answer this while they are at work....and maybe they are really bored. If you're bored you need something to stimulate you...so polite questions aren't gonna stimulate you. I don't think ppl are looking for a battle they are looking for stimulation...something to make them feel more than just a work drone...stamp the paper and send it to the next department. Sort of thing....

What you are describing is a give-up attitude (frequently known as cynicm) towards human nature. Never give up on human nature...many will yet come to revive your trust in their innate goodness.

I have checked the responses to your questions and could find NO ONE called you evil. In fact you even stated as much in one of your replies.
Why are you bringing this up when you know it is not true???????
