When you commute to work, is it okay to pass another buggy, or are you supposed to fall lin line behind unless they are stopped?

Usually what happens is that the Amish use their onboard GPS or On*Star to find an alternative route. If that doesn't work, they call work on their cell phones to let them know that they'll be late to the barn raising.

Sorry - but Amish don't have electricity, but in asking a friend of mine that is Amish, the answer is, ou could pass another buggy if in a hurry but patience is always a better virtue

I don't think the Amish use computers so I doubt you will get answer from them but I think it would be disrespectful to pass them.

I bet it would probably depend on how much motorized traffic is on the road. I don't think they pass each other because they would have to use the lane used by motorized vehicles. Now if they had their own road...
