talk to your friend and ask what would be okay with him. He may okay with it but then he may not. You need to respect your friend about your own "wants"

Go for it. If you are really good friends then they'll understand. Just make sure you don't do anything to really hurt her like cheating because that would cause problems.

That happened to me! I did the noble thing and left her alone, but when my friend found out he told me had it been him he wouldv'e went for it! So go for it! Dont have regrets!
