What was the hair dye that came out in the 90's that washed out in 8 shampoos? It was marketed towards teens. I can't think of the name.

I'm not sure about the 90's hair color. Some salons have a product called glaze that lasts about that long. Redken shades lasts about 4 weeks if your hair doesn't have any previous color. It will last longer if your hair is damaged. You could also go for tinted shampoos depending on what shade your hair is now and what you want to have. I wouldn't put red on blonde or anything drastic like that. It wouldn't work. If you want lighter hair nothing that washes out will work.
