The AZO is only a pain reliever. You have an infection and the longer you wait to see a doctor, the more severe the the infection .You can end up in kidney failure and no one wants that.
It is an old wives tale to drink cranberry juice. Do not drink it after you have the infection. It is too acidic for your body right now.
After you are better, you can use cranberries to help keep infections from returning.
I wish you the best.

Yes, see your doctor. Urinary tract infections (UTIs) can be caused by many different things, so it would be very wise to go to the doctor and find out how bad your UTI is and what is possibly causing it. Since you now know you are prone to UTIs, I would recommend making cranberry juice a part of your regular diet, but ask your doctor about this anyway. There are also cranberry pills out on the market, which are good because they do not contain sugar which can be bad for a UTI, so also ask your doctor about this possible alternative. I have listed a source below that may answer some of your questions, but I still recommend seeing a doctor, most likely a urologist or Gyn doctor, depending on your sex.

You can't cure a bacterial infection like a UTI with common household products. You need antibiotics to do this.
Cranberry extract (NOT JUICE!!!!) can be used to PREVENT future urinary tract infections, not cure them. You can get cranberry extract pills from most drugstores or health food stores that sell vitamins. Juice contains more sugar and not enough of the actual cranberry extract needed to raise the acidic level of your urine and prevent bacterial infection.
See a doctor soon though as a UTI can eventually cause kidney damage if left untreated.

See a doctor. A urinary tract infection is nothing to fool around with. If you let it go It could go into your system and will be harder to treat. It could be deadly. To prevent Urinary tract infections drink lots of fluids especially cranberry juice that goes in and comes out acid. Your bladder needs to be acidic to prevent urinary tract infections. However, once you get one, you need to have antibiotics. Very important. Go to a doctor today.

Drink plenty of water every day. Some doctors suggest drinking cranberry juice, which in large amounts inhibits the growth of some bacteria by acidifying the urine. Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid) supplements have the same effect.
Urinate when you feel the need; don't resist the urge to urinate.
Wipe from front to back to prevent bacteria around the anus from entering the vagina or urethra.
Take showers instead of tub baths.
Cleanse the genital area before sexual intercourse.
Empty the bladder shortly before and after sexual intercourse.
Avoid using feminine hygiene sprays and scented douches, which may irritate the urethra.
BUT STILL SEE A GP

I have always been told cranberry juice and plenty of water. Also you have to be careful if you are sexually active with someone, especially unprotected. There is always the possiblity they could be sleeping with someone else and could have brought the infection back. Also the latex in condoms sometimes can make woman get infection or irritation as well. If you can't fix it yourself and nothing else is working, high tail it to the doctors ASAP.

If you have any kidney pain at all, you need to go to a doctor.
You can cure an infection by drinking alka-seltzer 3 times a day for a week. Sounds crazy, but I did it - and it works!

Cranberry juice is good for helping you get rid of the infection.
Try taking the original kind of alka-seltzer. For some reason, this helps clear the bacteria faster than anything else. Good luck!
