What could it be and what can I give him any suggestions thank? He also is always sneezing in morinings only and sounds always congested and nasaley. Ihave always seem to have these problems with him. Should i take him to see a stomache specialist?

I took my son to the doc they had blood drawnout and stool sample tests done.He is also scheduled to see an allergy specialist and gasternologist. I'm so upset because my inlaws give a turned up nose look, like im going over board with this, am I? My husband feel the same way about it. Hey we have the ins. why not and me iam a concerned parent. Are all of these doctor visits putting thoughts in my son head and maybe making it worse?

You could very well have a couple of things going on here. First, if he's congested usually in the mornings, he might have allergies. His congestion and drainage might have alot to do with his nausea and diarreha. Do you leave the windows open at night? I have 2 that have "seasonal allergies" and if I leave the windows open, no matter what the weather is like, they wake up completely congested. I can take them camping and they're fine. My doctor says it's because the air is flowing freely when you're outdoors.

The second thing you should think about is irritable bowel syndrome. My sister-in-law has it and can cause her severe stomach problems and diarrhea. There are medications and diet restrictions in order to control it.

I would take him to the doctor. If you can't afford a doctor (no insurance, etc), check out the source that I listed. It's a very thorough site and can help you with some "home remedies" for these issues.

Good luck!

I'm a bit confused...he has a stomache, but no pain?? hmmm.

Since he doesn't have a fever I wouldn't think this is a virus. If he's been having diarrhea for about a week, then I would take him to the doctor and have him looked at. He may have IBS- irritable bowel syndrome. If he isn't getting any better, ask the doc to refer your son to a gastroenterologist for a colonoscopy.

Has he had any concerns or worries about school? My oldest child used to have bad stomachaches and headaches due to worrying about school. She even went home her first day of school (in seventh grade) last year, after she vomited and went to the nurse. Talk to him and take him to see the doctor.

Could be lactose intolerance. If so, it would explain the stomach pain, diarrhea, and congestion. Avoid dairy for a week and see if this helps. If so, you'll know he's lactose intolerant. Try Lactaid milk. I can't taste the difference.
