What a sweet question! I feel the same way about my little kitty and my nine dogs. They are better friends than humans could ever be. Pets are more than companions to me, they are confidants and kindred spirits. You probably feel such a strong bond to your kitty because animals never judge, they never speak or criticize. They only listen and comfort. If you love your cat that much, he will return the favor and love you back just as much.

While not a dog (ultra loyal and love without question) a good cat can be a true blessing.
Cats don't talk back (they do claw and bite)
Cats are soft and furry
Cats are relaxed (usually)
Cats are fun
People on the other hand, well, they talk back, they are not usually soft and furry, they are not usually relaxed and they ofter are not fun...

I do too!! I don't care if its a boyfriend or relative, be mean to my cat and I'll throw them out!! My cat is the best thing that ever happened to me and I am always so worried about his well being. If he and I were both sick and I only had enough money to treat one of us guaranteed he'd survive!! I even brought in a picture of him to a good tattoo artist and had him tattooed on my ankle.
