I say 30 minute meals with Rachael Ray which always has some usable ideas. My wife says Barefoot Contessa.
We both agree the last place boobie prize goes to that egotist Emeril.

I agree Paula and Giada are entertaining. I've made some of their recipes with good success. Barefoot Contessa has great recipies, too, and I like Ina Garten, but her hair is always hanging down in front of her face and too close to the food. I like Alton Brown, too.

Right now it's Michael Chiarello. Followed very closely by Paula Dean. I used to love Emeril, but his live audience show is over the top now. I like his show where it's just him in the kitchen without the audience.

Alton Brown i think his show is awesome with all the scientific facts on not just how to cook but why it cooks liek it does, and paula dean is a close second because of all the butter she uses.

Hands down I love watching and attempting to cook Emeril's food!
A close second I think Rachel Ray is pretty practical for the busy mom (I have 5 kids) and I love getting quick and easy, not to mention great tasting food.

I adore Rachel Ray, and Good Eats is entertaining, but for practicality purposes, I'm more likely to cook something from Semi-Homemade cooking. Great recipes. They're simple, so I actually have time to make them when I've had a long day, and they taste great. I haven't tried one thing I dont' like.
