Isn't it interesting that about the same number of American soldiers have died since 9/11 as American citizens did when the towers fell. So who is the greatest killer of Americans? Bush or Bin Laden? I'd say from the numbers it's about even. The joke on Bush is he started the war in the wrong country and Bin Laden is still free.

It saddens me to see any marine or soldier die, however, let's put this into perspective.
How many marines died during the battle of Iwo Jima? 6,821.
And how long was the battle? 40 days.
The terrorists are winning, and I will tell you why. They know they cannot win on the battlefield fighting directly against the marines and soldiers. Their sole purpose is to create enough havoc over time to wear down the American public's will to keep fighting. And guess what? It's working.
You feel like you've been played by the US president....but guess what, you've been played by the terrorists and you don't even realize it. It's a sad day indeed...

How many of those marines voluntarily went over there knowing full well the risks but had a patriotic duty that you evidently don't have to keep you free?!!!!! I don't know if you are old enough to remember Viet Nam but our losses are quite small for as long as we've been in the war. I shouldn't get upset with antiwar people cause you get them in every war but I always wonder just how do they think we keep our freedom when that freedom is threatened?! Do you think it's something you can buy with money? Maybe have a chit chat with the enemy and tell them to play nice??

Count how many die after the Democrats pull us out and we have to go back in and clean up what the 'freedom fighters' have done. Appease all you want, they make more.
