You know it's true love because when you are not with the one you love (and what you feel really is true love), then the world is black and white.
When he's away, then the ocean is still, the birds are silent and everything tastes like carboard, the wind still blows that gentle breeze, but in it you smell his perfume.
Your heart still goes ge-doof , ge-doof, but you only hear it beat his name.
You know it's true love because the sound of children's laughter awakens in you the desire to grow old and grey at his side, feeding the pigeons with him and looking after those great-grand children of yours as you pat his hand and remember the good and the bad years.
You know it's true love when you respect his "I'm busy" and you know he'll call...
You know it's true love when you can see eternity only at his side.. because you know a lifetime is too short to be with him and show him how wonderful he is;
You know because when his eyes ( looking at you even during daily chores) make you light up, inflate at the very soul and float away on yet another smile, yet another sigh.
You know it's love when the sound of his voice reading the news makes you as tingly as though he'd just read you the greatest love story.
You know it's true love because when he comes home after a long day at work, he gives YOU the footrub! You know it's true love because you dance when everyone IS watching and you don't care.
You know it's true love because you look forward to every moment quietly sitting next to him as you each read a magazine as if it were the last seasonal cherry.
You know because you want to bear his children, you want to share his tears, you want to caress his sorrows away, and you know because he's told you and shown you that all of the above is exactly how he feels about you.
You know because in the silence of the night, when all is still and dark, he is the light in your dreams, and when you awake, he is the sunshine, and the fresh morning dew on your heart.

If he is with you for more than just sex it's probably true love.
And if She is with him for more than the amount of money he has (or gives her) it may be true love to her.
