I just want to know how much it costs to park at the train station over a weekend. You'd be amazed how difficult this is to find out. Passed to customer services people in India and allsorts.

Try the local council they usually have the answers to those sorts of questions. Car parks are usually owned by town councils also. I could only find this although its not helpful, sorry.

http://www.preston.gov.uk/Category.asp?cat=1123 is the car parks section of the Preston website, but it is not a great help but it does give this number to call 01772 513722 which may help. The carpark seems to be council operated so phoning the railways won't get you anywhere, but phoning the council might (possibly).

Anyway good luck!
