Im a good girl,I dont ask for much. I do all that I can to make him happy and avoid fights and make sure he is happy. I want to feel important to him.
How can I make him treat me good? He doesnt buy me anything, and no Im not a gold digger- he didnt even buy me a card for my bday last year. He tells me when things get better he will help me out - but he always says that.
You know how a guy loves a girl and does anything for her, I want that. I want to be smothered lol. Any advice?
I know it exsists- I see people and they are still head over heels for each other - why are we not? We are happy most of the time - I just want to be loved.
We have ben togehter almost 6 years. Has it just lost the spark?

If he has been doing this for six years now, he will continue to do it. If he knows how you feel and still doesn't do anything about it, he doesn't really care how you feel and what you want. If he was head over heels with you, he would do everything in his power to make you happy. You go out of your way to make him as happy as you can and what does he do for you? I think you should have a talk about everything you said here and if it doesn't help, then it's time to move on. Find someone that deserves your unconditional love.

More than likely he isn't going to change. He may take you for granted because you have been together so long and he don't think you will leave him. You should give him something to worry about. Stop being so nice to him. Stop making sure that he is happy and worry about yourself for a change. I was in a relationship like that before I met my current boyfriend. I decided I didn't want to be treated like a figurine on the coffee table anymore. My current boyfriend treats me like he should--like I am the most important thing in his life. It is an awesome feeling. Good luck to you!

My ex-wife had the same attitude. Of course you want to be treated like a queen or princess, most girls do and there's nothing wrong with wanting to be appreciated and spoiled a bit. Try and put yourself in his shoes for once though. He wants to be what you want him to be, but may be he realises that everything has to have a priority. He may Love you, buti isn't stuff like putting food on the table important too?

Sweetie wake up and smell the coffee, even if he could not buy you anything he could have made you something, stop doing things for him and see how that works, seems to me he is using you.

you have both become complacent in your relationship. If he never did those things before why would he start now?
