How would you rate your cooking skills from a one to a ten. 10 being the hightest.?

I consider baking seperate from cooking, so I am not thinking of that in my rating.

I'd say when it comes to just cooking, I'm about an 8. I can follow a recipe and have it turn out great, or I can alter the recipe (which I normally do to suit my needs) and it still turns out well.

Now plate presentation is totally different LOL

Sorry to brag...10 .......Obviously someone doesn't like my answer, but I did train as a craft baker and cook. The thumbs downer is obviously jealous of the good cooks amongst us. So petty !

Everyone that tastes my cooking thinks its' great I haven't thrown any thing out yet. so I would say at least a 9.

i wish i could say a 9 (you can never make everyone happy and there is always room for improvement so noone can say 10) but it is more like a 5.....my family definitely won't starve but they don't get anything real fancy....if they want the fancy stuff we just go next door to my mother-in-laws and ask her to make it for us!!!! sometimes it is nice but most of the time it is a pain in the butt having her next door!!!!

mine is about a 7-8, I used to run a tavern years ago,but since my wife is the beat cook in the family, I have been backsliding. she won;t let me near her stove.

7 OR 8 Sometimes I can mess something up real good and sometimes I can turn a mess into something real good lol
