Basically, the rule that you want to follow is just as long as he has no effect on your career.
Here is the excerpt from AR 600-20 (Army Command Policy):
Prohibited Relationships
Relationships between soldiers of different rank are prohibited if they:
(1) Compromise, or appear to compromise, the integrity of supervisory authority or the chain of command.
(2) Cause actual or perceived partiality or unfairness.
(3) Involve, or appear to involve, the improper use of rank or position for personal gain.
(4) Are, or are perceived to be, exploitative or coercive in nature.
(5) Create an actual or clearly predictable adverse impact on discipline, authority, morale, or the ability of the command to accomplish its mission.

I dated a PFC when I was a SFC. We went on to get married and seventeen years later we still are. During the dating period her Sergeant Major had a cow, and tried everything in his power to get us in trouble, but we were well within the scope of what the AR 600 says is legal. I retired at a SGM, so there was really no effect on my career at all.

Since the AR 600-20 has already been addressed here, I will just speak from experience (for what it is worth). Always weigh the consequences, and I'm not talking about the published ones here... I'm talking about what image that will cast on his reputation and yours. What happens when it is over? What perception others will have of you? Keep those thoughts in mind as you proceed. I am not saying that you shouldn't do it - just keep in mind those small details.

You shouldn't be dating according to the UCMJ, but the UCMJ also states that a single female shouldn't get pregnant while she is in the military. And we all know that happens all the time. Just keep it low. Don't let your first Sergeant know. Its all good!

Karma's a load of crap. you could desire to become in touch. replaced into your husband authorized a hotel room? if so, identifying to purchase a hotel in and of itself wasn't technically incorrect. If the %is keen to admit and returned it up, you nonetheless would % some extra evidence to tutor adultery. it somewhat is annoying to tutor it while its only he suggested/she suggested. stable success.

It's okay as long as you are not in the same unit. Even then it's still frowned upon.

if you are in the same chain of command, then no, you may not. If you were at different commands, be discreet.
