You might think about trying this book called "The Movie Star Diet" by Steve Simmons. It helped me lose thirty pounds in 2 1/2 months when I didn't think anything would work. My goal to begin with was only 20 lbs! It has a really easy plan to follow and an excellent workout as well.

Am Im not sure if you'l be allowed but doing weights in the gym is great for toning up. You could ask the attendent for a personalised plan that doesn't affect your injury. Other than that have you thought about yoga or pilates or cycling cause they are great for legs. Best of Luck.

Well im not a fitness instructer but i can say that there are different ways to lose weight. For one you could start to eat more fruits and vegies. A balenced diet is a big role in losing weight. Try to do warm ups and take it slow. Hope i was useful. Good Luck!

Take long walks or start swimming. Try joining a water aerobics class. My 8 month pregnant friend is currently doing water aerobics so it must be pretty gentle on the body. Also, drink lots of water, eat less carbs and sugar - get lots of fibre.

Running doesn't make you lose weight as it's too intense: your body will need energy really quickly and it will take it from fast sugar and muscles.

Try walking at a relatively fast pace or bike rides. This is the best to lose fat: not too intense and you can do it for a long time.

Weight training is a good way to lose fat, but I can tell wht exercises might be good for you. You can try upper body exercise like bech press, Over head press, lat pull downs etc.

Healthy diet is next. Limit or cut out simple carbs and saturated fat.

If you are serious about losing weight, the calories
in the food you eat should be less than the
energy you use. You will have to increase your
metabolic rate now, and plan your diet carefully.
Formulate your own weight loss plan and you will
lose weight faster. More details available at

Low impact exercise like walking and swimming plus eat differently - healthy foods only, small quantities, frequently.

Drink lots of water - no calories, but filling.

Good luck!
