I train people on how to hand feed, below are some very good links with picture and information on how to correctly hand feed, you need to follow directions carefully, if you make a mistake there may be no turning back and it could kill the baby bird.

I have gotten mine when it did not even had feathers yet. I first took a syringe and filled it up with baby bird food (this you can buy at any pet shop). Then I chewed bird seed till it was soft, and let the baby eat it from my tongue. This also makes the bond between you two closer (it's like eating from mom). Then I just chewed it less and less and he started eating by himself. The only thing you must watch out for is overfeeding. You will see how much he/she has eaten by watching the crop. This way you will have a bird that is really close to you.

You can use warm baby food, like banannas, or any other fruit, Baby food is the best. Use a small suringe and full it up and just feed him.... Every 3 hrs is good....Also when he weens off of the baby food make sure you freeze any food you buy for him over nite to prevent bugs... Freezing them will kill all bugs.. good luck
