There's been this product on the market for over 20 years i used to sel them when i worked in an electrical shop when i was 16 and now i'm 41!

Back then they were made by well known companies and now you can get them from the non-descript manufacturers from china, etc.

I think there is a market but you need to see what the competition is selling them for and maybe go for a niche market, a product with a theme for example.
The basic 3 way box is readily available, just check out any market stall.

If you had a theme such as football, you would increase your possible customer base because they would appeal to someone interested in football, buy a football themed product as a present or just someone after the 3 functions.

You'll have to come up with maybe something more original, what about something where you can slot in photographs?
It would sit at the side of your bed with all 3 functions but showing a photo too? A lot of people have photos at the side of the bed.

See what i'm getting at?
You need something original, a quirk selling point.

Good luck and am i on commission for the photo idea?lol

Sorry, your idea is not new. I've had three or four throughout my life.

As for whether I'd buy it....! Well, that depends on the space available on the bedside table, it's size, style, my needs of one, its cost and other factors I can't think of at present. Sorry, but the human being is a fickle beast as 'Customers' go. Maybe if you' make them for, say chimpanzees, or sheep, you'd find a less fickle customer.

Best of luck with your project.
Sash.

Im thinking 1970's...

These thinks used to be very popular, there was a trend to integrate things.

Then we went to stand alone items where each item became art in iteself.

Now though, i think it would be a good idea to integrate them again as people are living in smaller spaces.

Coudl you include a teasmade for me, ta ?

Good look.

Maybe have a look at retro pictures on the internet to see what they used to look like
