Is this more " keep the minority happy" stuff again, it is getting out of hand if you can not even fly your own flag to keep foreigners happy. I live in Switzerland and there is always a Swiss flag floating about somewhere whether it s on an office building or just the garden shed ( a sort of refuge here ) and no one would dream of saying take it off, and if you are a foreigner like me there is nothing that says you can not fly your flag either. When the world cup was on the local town was ablaze with all sorts of flags , some of them weren't even in the cup but who cares.

Just to put you straight slightly. Minorities may moan about the Union Jack but I don't know any British (not just English) person who has ever NOT flown the flag if they've wanted to. It's never going to happen.

Why can't we fly our flag... it's our right.. as it is for anyone of any nation to. Anyone who says the cross of saint George is too closley related to Skin heads and thugs.. is just scared of a stereotype. I'm British/English and i wear a st george on St georges day and i'll wave the union jack.

Yes. Their Laws say that everyone has a right of freedom of speech. Saying that it wouldn't matter as the other side has just the same freedom of speech. Look at how they allow the KKK to still have their marches and meetings.
