I'm at the mall scouting for chicks, so these hot babes are walking in and I hold the door for them. Next thing you know they start throwing a fit saying things like "What, you think because I'm a woman I can't hold the door myself" and "Why are you such a pig, we can do this ourselves". Yeah, crazy wenches, they left and some more girls were coming, I let go of the door and they had to open it themselves, then they threw a fit. Saying things like "Why are you such a pig" and "No wonder Chivalry is dead, you can't even be a gentlemen and hold the door open for a ladie".

you refer to women as "chicks", "hot babes" and "crazy wenches" this is part of your problem. Oh and u answered a "my sister broke up with her bf" question with "send her to me"......?
yikes....oh and it is a nice thing to hold the door open for anyone coming in behind you, be it a male or a female, so the ones who responded in a negative way to this are overly sensitive and need to get over themselves.

I prefer to be referenced to as a woman or a lady, not chick or babe. I find it heartwarming when a man opens the door for me, and I ALWAYS say "thank you". I glad you are such a gentleman. Don't let a few bad apples discourage you from being a good man.

first of all gentlemen don't call ladies chicks and babes. Second of all holding a door for someone is common courtesy that its for a woman or a man.
Some women have issues but not all of us. Some men are pigs but not all of them. Don't generalize.
Gentlemen don't go to mall's to scout for chicks.... These babes as you called them probably knew what you were thinking when you opened door for them and that's why you got that reaction from them.

all females are crazy some are just more crazy that others. Find one that is least crazy.even though she is slightly insane.

the type of females that hang out at the mall are girls who just got off school and trying to look for some mischif. combine that with female craziness and you have a big problem.

dont change who you are because some chick pitched a fit for you holding the door open for her, i think that is very sweet and thoughtful. she must have been in a pissy mood or something because all the women i know love that!

It depends on who you are talking to. Some are independant, some don't care and some are appreciative. It depends on who you open the door for. That's pretty lame that you have to "scout for chicks."
