I think that that question is almost I'm possible to answer unless you are in that situation. I would like to think that I would stay with him forever. I think that if you are truly in love with someone then this shouldn't make a difference to your feelings for that person. If the guy was left badly brain damaged and couldn't communicate with anyone or didn't know what was going on around him, well that would be a lot harder to live with. but if someone is just physically damaged then I dont think I would stop loving him, but as I said before you dont really know what you would do until you are in the actual situation.

I could be a typical girl and say "A" but in all honesty, I would probably do "B".

While it is noble to say "A" and "do the right thing", I truly believe that there must be a physical attraction in a relationship. Of course, you do fall in love with a person not only because of their looks, but let's admit, if we are totally repulsed by a person's looks we rarely give them the time of day.

So there, an honest answer from a lady.

c) generally speaking, if this did happen to a man, first and foremost, human instinct is to be one unhappy camper about what had happened to yourself. Secondly, anyone having been through this type of thing, generally pushes the loved one (the girl in this case) away as far as possible, in order to to try to cause both of them even greater hurt. Would I have left because I didn't love him? NO!!! But if it were to help him recover, and accept his disabilities and disfigurements, and help him heal, then yes I would, instead of sticking around and being his friend and flaunting (to him) of what he lost. This would be the case of two people making a sacrifice for the other, in different ways because they love each other enough to do so!

Its a tough one. I would probably stay with him. Unless he is not the man I knew when he left. War can change a person and if its for the bad. Then I would have to consider myself and age and what I want out of life. If I left him I would always be availble for him and yes would try to keep him as a friend!

(A) He would still be the man of my dreams, however, the outside would be altered. Not a big issue for me, it would be more of an issue for him. I would stick by his side, he would need someone in his corner. The days ahead would be very difficult and he is still the same man, same character, same personality. We would get through it. What a mature person falls in love with is not the physical attributes of another, but the spirit and the complexity of the personality. God bless

that's easy it would be **A**... cause no matter what happen to him... he is the love of your life your dream man and your soul mate the one man you want to spend the rest of your life with.... there is NO other man out there like him .... and he might look different on the out side ....but the man you love is who he is on the inside and you should be there for him no matter what you should be happy he is still here with you !!!!!!!!
and you should be there helping him get through life one day at a time

A
I would have to choose. Because i love him and no matter what you can't turn those feelings off under no circumstances. Cause if two people love each other it should be enough.

it is so sad question. i would never leave someone i love when he is in trouble. i am not saying that now but i usually in life love ones who need me more. i couldn't have good relationship with guys who have everything in life. i feel like no need for me in their life. only a new number in their collections.
i know i would take care of my man till the last day of my life.

In reality....i will have to stay with him....it would be so cruel to leave him.....but as time goes by....my love for him would be less than before and eventually my injured soulmate could feel that he couldn't do the things he wanna do with me like before and things will start to get unhappy...........
