I went food shopping on Monday nite - I accidentally left an unopened container of cream cheese on the counter. I just noticed it, put it in fridge. will it still be good to use after a few hours of refridgeration?

I wouldn't chance it. Cream Cheese is a Dairy product. Think of it like milk. Would you keep a carton of milk that had been left out for 3 days? No way. You don't want to get yourself or your family sick!

No need to find out the hard way so you should just toss it. It's only a couple dollars lost.
