there is a chemical found in chocolate that is poisonous to dogs, and it doesn't really take that nuch either. A 200g bar of choc could kill a small dog or at least induce coma.

There's a very certain amount they are allowed to withstand and it varies with different types of chocolate. Unsweetened chocolate will mess a dog up. White chocolate not as much and milk is the safest, but it's all bad. Keep chocolate away from 'em - it's toxic to dogs.

Hey, chocolate is not good for dogs, in small amounts it will cause stomach problems ( oily gas with the inability to control it)
In large amounts it can kill your dog. DO NOT FEED CHOCOLATE TO DOGS. :-0 Stu

if you give him milk chocolate he will be fine. but semisweet / baking chocolate is risky. see its the caffein not the choc.
