Cranberry juice (you can get it in pill form) and Vitamin C pills, and acidophilus EVERY DAY.
When you go pee do not rush. You must sit there and be sure to completely empty your bladder.
Every, every, every time you have sex (even oral sex or petting, or masterbating) you must go pee within an hour. This helps to clean out the bacteria that has been moved around. Also always wipe front to back.
You can buy urine dip sticks to test for infection. These are available at some pharmacies and online. They are not terribly expensive and come in packages of 100; which for you may not be too many. These work kind of like pH strips they will show you how much blood, bacteria, etc is in your urine. This will help you fight an infection just when it starts and monitor if it is getting worse. Get the ones that measure sugar as well, if you have abnormally high levels of sugar in your urine that is helping the bacteria breed. Sugar in your urine is also a sign of bad diet or bad health, it can be a symptom of disease.
Good luck!

Poor you! How horrible, and if you really have a bladder infection maybe you better just stick to oral and not have full sex tonight, disappointing though that might be.
I do not find cranberry juice helps - in fact it makes me worse. Just drink loads of plain water, so that you are constantly having to urinate. Will help flush it out. Dont know if that is good advice with anti-bio's though.
A good lubricant always helps and i use acti-gel (get it from Boots if you are in UK) AFTER sex.
When your condition under control and you do have sex again, boring though it is i always find it good to get up as soon as poss afterwards and urinate - flushes out any germs that have been pushed in. I also wash with a little pure soap and blast the whole area with very cold water. Not fun, but seems to work.
I hope you enjoy your evening.

Cranberry juice is the thing. It reduces the acidity of the urine, which not only makes the whole business less painful, but it actually makes the bladder a more hostile place for the bacteria so helps to prevent future flare-ups.

Drink lots of water and/or cranberry juice. NEVER use soap or perfumed products. I use Halo & Horns range of kids products cos they've taken out the nasties and only use white toilet paper, the dye in coloured paper can irritate.

drink lots of cranberry juice; take Azo (over the counter) for pain; after your "fun" be sure to use the bathroom; lots of time bacteria can be spread and this is a way of eliminating some of it; as crude as this sounds, be sure to change condoms between "back door" and "front door" sex; always wipe front to back

Do not use bar soap on your genitalia, this has caused lots of infections in women.
When you are showering use a feminine hygeine product that has no scent
