Consult with your doctor first but you may be treating the problem the opposite of how it should be done. Most refer to having too much acid in the stomach, so it's treated with acid reducers. If you are having bad gas, I'd ask your doctor to let you off of those things and try adding acid. Gas is a sign you are not digesting your food well enough. Take a tablespoon of dark apple cider vinegar. It burns like a shot of whiskey but it adds to the acid in your stomach and helps you digest food better. I used to have chronic stomach problems. I took the vinegar one time a couple years ago and I've only had the problem a couple of times since. Consider me cured. But you will have to talk to your doc first and stop taking the acid reducers to make it work.

the meds you are taking could be causing the problem. I stopped taking all my meds over a year ago and i feel fine. Drink some Ginger Ale, that will settle your stomach.

If you have GERD/Acid Reflux, there are certain things you can't eat. Just go by the guidelines and cut out the spicy, citrusy, fatty, and greasy foods.

I have acid reflux.. I feel your pain.
