If you are thin now you can gain weight and see...then you will know what you have. As you get older and your metabolism slows you will have a natural tendency to gain weight in certain places. You can't change that so if it all goes to your stomach and not your butt you can't change that. Some girls don't want to lose weight for example because they lose breasts but at the same time their stomach gains fat. You have to make a decision what you want to look and feel like and go with it.

If you are a natural pear you will not gain weight like an Apple. Some say they have but ususally they start out slim and turn to an apple or a pear.

If you don't like what you are then you can diet/exercise to make changes. weight training for example, to broaden the shoulders can change your overall appearance or adding larger glutes to help the curvy look. just worry first about being healthy, everything else is secondary to that.

Petite is not a body shape. Yes you can change your body shape from a pear to something less pear shaped with exercise and proper healthy diet. Apples can be changed the same way as long as the breast aren't what is the Apple part, those usually take surgery to change. But if the middle area is large, that can be changed. If you are petite, you are always going to be small in body frame, that is your bone structure.

No...you can not change the natural shape of your body. If you are petite you can't magically grow taller. If you are pear shaped you can't determine where the majority of your weight sits. All you can do is improve on your shape. I'm pear shaped and all I can do is work out to minimize my hip and thigh area, but I can't magically make them disappear (not that I would want to). I have a friend who's apple shaped and she would love to be pear shaped but she can't magically change her body structure. It just doesn't work like that sorry. You can exercise and do toning exercises for your trouble areas, but that's all you can do.

Why would you want to become apple shaped. Pear shape is a much healthier shape than apple. Studies show that if you are pear shaped, you are less at risk of developing heart disease and diabetes, plus it looks much more feminine and sexy. HTH : )

No. Not to/from petite.
Petite is mostly to do with height, and body structure.

Pear and apple are different things. They can generally be changed. If it's not due to the shape of your hips etc it will be to do with where fat sits on your body so you can work out and sculpt your body that way.


You can find out your body frame by measuring your wrist to see whether you are large small or medium.

No need to sell yourself, men love women of all shapes and sizes. I think the police will arrest anyone where you are apple, banana, or pear shaped. Tangelo = )

yes try different exercises in the area you want to change, get a personal trainer. it sounds like you wanna "add" some shape to yourself, well thats the best way, just dont over add.
